WARNING SHUT OFF AND DEPRESSURIZE AIR SYSTEM BEFORE SERVICING OR INSTALLING. MAXIMUM OPERATING PRESSURE 250 PSI
- Maximum working temperature at 145 psi 50 deg C / 122 deg F
- Install the system as close as possible to point of use
- Always install the system with the arrows indicating the direction of airflow.
- The lubricator must be filled before the system is pressurized
- The oil recommended for lubricator is ISO and UNI FD 22 (e.g. ENERGOL HLP 22 ""BP"; SPINESSO 22 "ESSO"; PHYDRUS OIL 22 "IP"; MOBIL DTE 22 "MOBIL"; TELLUS OIL 22 "SHELL"
- Do not use cleaning oil, or brake fluid oil, or solvents
The Modular Tsunami Separator and lubricator may be installed on airdrops or mounted on machines.
Mounting brackets and anchors have been included for wall mounting if needed. (Use a ¼" masonry drill for plastic anchor.
Connect the air inlet to port. This is a ½" NPT female pipe, 3/8" and ¼" bushings can be used to reduce pipe size if needed.
The outlet port is ½" NPT female pipe, 3/8" and ¼" bushings can be used to reduce pipe size if needed. The system works best when point of use air is within 30 feet from unit.
Set the drip rate on the lubricator for approximately two drops per 35 SCFM of air flow. Use a flat blade screw driver to adjust .
Use a 3/8" ID air hose for best results for air tools
The Tsunami Separator comes with a automatic drain PN 9000801. As water accumulates in bottom sump the drain will automatically eject this water at a predetermined level.
Unit can be mounted using the optional mounting bracket & hardware, P/N 21999-0144.
When using the enclosed plastic drain line tubing, heat the end of the tube slightly before pushing it into the drain stem.
MAINTENANCE:
If the automatic drain should become stuck open or inoperable Shut off air and bleed all pressure from separator before servicing. Remove the bottom cap on the separator. The drain usually can be cleaned in hot soap and water. DO NOT attempt to disassemble the drain as you may cause it to become inoperative permanently.
When installing a new drain, make sure o-ring is installed on bottom stem (D) before screwing into bottom cap. Snug finger tight. View Float Drain Replacement Instructions
The Tsunami Separator uses a special 304 stainless steel filter element and should never need replacing. The filter element may be removed and cleaned with soap & water and reinstalled.
FILLING & SETTING THE LUBRICATOR
Remove and fill the oil reservoir with approved oil. Re-attach to head.
Set the amount of oil to be introduced into the airstream by adjusting the orifice control using a screwdriver
