What brought you to Suburban Manufacturing Group? I started as a part-time intern during my Senior year in college. After graduation, I was offered a full-time position as the Marketing Specialist. I accepted the job offer knowing it would offer me professional growth opportunities!
What type of education or experiences help you in this position? I have a 4-year Marketing Communications and Screen Arts degree. Learning about the different marketing disciplines and content creation techniques was pertinent in my role when I began. Since I started as an intern, I’ve gained the product and industry knowledge to become a manager.

What does your day to day job entail? I manage and execute digital marketing content related to our product focuses, sales opportunities and new product development. This includes social media posts, demonstration videos, website updates, and brochure designs.
I also conduct market research to understand the industry trends and consumer buying behavior. Another aspect is creating marketing strategy and budgets, overseeing the creation of marketing materials and content, and performing all other relevant tasks essential for increasing the company's sales.
What do you enjoy most about your role? I enjoy the diversity in the day-to-day activities as well as the large company projects I get to be involved in! It’s rewarding to have the opportunity to impact a company on a larger scale.

What do you enjoy about working at Suburban? I love the autonomy with my position – the sky is the limit! I’ve always had a runway to learn and grow. Suburban does an awesome job at that.
How do you see yourself growing with Suburban? As the company grows, I would like to grow alongside it! I see myself continuing to grow and develop as a marketing professional.
What golden piece of advice would you give to anyone thinking of entering into a marketing position? Don't be shy. The best sales/marketing people in the industry aren't afraid to put themselves out there for personal branding and networking opportunities.
